Your 10-Day Itinerary
Arrive Beijing Capital Airport. Private transfer to hotel. Evening walk along Wangfujing Street pedestrian food market — try Peking duck and street snacks.
Morning drive to Mutianyu Great Wall — cable car up, toboggan down. Afternoon Summer Palace — imperial garden and Kunming Lake boat ride. Peking duck dinner at Da Dong.
Tiananmen Square — world's largest city square. Forbidden City — 2-hour guided tour of the 960-room imperial palace. Temple of Heaven park. Evening hutong rickshaw tour.
Morning: Ming Tombs or Lama Temple option. Afternoon high-speed train to Xi'an (4.5 hrs). Arrive Xi'an. Walk the ancient City Wall at sunset — cycle around the perimeter.
Full morning at the Terracotta Army — three excavation pits, the chariot horse pits, and the Emperor Qin Shi Huang's museum. Afternoon: return to city for Muslim Quarter night market.
Xi'an City Wall cycling tour (10 km circuit). Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Tang Dynasty art museum. Hands-on biangbiang noodle cooking class. Tang Dynasty dinner show.
High-speed bullet train to Shanghai (6 hrs). Arrive afternoon. Check in to Bund-view hotel. Evening walk on the Bund waterfront — Art Deco buildings, Pudong skyline, river reflections.
Morning Yu Garden — Ming dynasty classical garden. Yuyuan Bazaar for souvenirs. Afternoon stroll through the plane-tree-lined streets of the French Concession. Evening rooftop bar.
Shanghai Tower observation deck at 632 m. Oriental Pearl Tower. Afternoon: Shanghai Museum of Art and History. Evening Huangpu River night cruise.
Morning at leisure. Transfer to Pudong or Hongqiao airport. Farewell to China.
